Copper, along with gold, is the only "colored" metal.
Alloyed to zinc, it becomes brass (commonly known as yellow copper).
Objects can be "silvered" by a process known as electrolysis, or they can be
made of solid silver. In such case, the work becomes that of a silversmith.
In coppersmith, copperware used for culinary purposes are
tined with a layer of pewter through a process of fusion.
